Wow, what a great summary of IPTV platforms. This explains a lot. As I'm more of a consumer of habit, I sort of hate changing my routine, I tend to stick with what I know.
But I have noticed as of late how many more platforms there are promoting their own content. I particularly noticed that with AppleTV, as fast rising platform with some pretty excellent productions. Apple TV has caught a lot of ground in the last few years alone.
While I've never given this much thought, I now understand what's really going on in the TV-Streaming world. I understand all the choices now and how they are happening.
I'd be curious to know how these platforms curate content, for instance, is one known for better children's programming, versus another one know for history pieces, or documentaries?
Thanks for sharing!
