This is my 101th story. A pause to look at this milestone, time to breathe and reflect.

A milestone is a marker set up beside a road to mark the distance to a particular place. The number one hundred is my marker, a humble number in a universe of infinite numbers, but large enough for me at this moment in my writing journey to celebrate big time.

When I started here on Medium, to publish 100 stories was an unthinkable target as a visual designer. Yet, it happened.

So, why and how?

The why

Writing bonds like-minded people together. It’s the glue for an audience interested in the same topics. It creates a unique community.

Writing about design, UX, animation, or art, I’ve met so many other designers who write, near and far, sharing their insights on topics I couldn’t read up on anywhere else.
