What an amazing recap of the convention. It’s so good to hear that women succeed in tech, that they put ideas forward, and grow to become strong leaders in their field. I firmly believe that every woman has the potential to succeed in tech.
But what we need more of is better training modules and a better culture all around especially for young teenage women to excel in math and science.
Even for older women like myself, I’m 55+, there is a strong cultural bias against diving into new tech learnings. This may have a lot to do with the tech industry building things for tech users to consume, ie, buy, rather than engaging with it as a learning platform to study how it actually works (coding, learning about data sets, security, and so on).
Young users suffer from this terribly through their addiction to gaming and posing on social media, rather than learning coding techniques & languages.
Society is shifting in a big way, implementing a bigger gap yet between tech creators and tech users.
Thanks you for another amazing article!
