Very interesting article. I've also observed, in my small circle of peers who've started entrepreneurial projects that actually became successful that there is a concrete wall of fear of pushing the success into the real world.
There was fear of accepting bigger income streams, bigger clients, even though that prospect was at hand. I believe that fear of success also plays a big trick on an entrepreneur's psychological state of mind.
That's probably where the importance of mentors comes into place. If there are unknowns, and no one can walk you through it as the founder entrepreneur, then giving up is often a type of emergency reaction.
