What exactly is a design studio?

A design studio is a designated space where visual ideas can flow freely and generously. It is a space for imagination and visual experimentation, discovery and development. New products and objects can get researched and experimented on in an unrestricted fashion.

A design studio can encompass every surface that can be available, ie, walls, floors, ceilings, hanging walls, white/black boards, tables chairs, mirrors, screens, and projections.

What does studio space look like in real time and setting?

Designers need to be inventive about their spaces. Space is scare. Therefore, any available space can get converted into a creative zone.

Dedicate open walls as white boards. Use this space to draw diagrams, wire frames, content lists, thoughts, insights, maps, and next steps.
