A fantasy fairy tale
The Adventures of Princess Lailya, Bulumbu, and Tilley Turtle is a fantasy graphic novel. The story takes us to a world of snow-capped mountains, vast oceans, and luscious islands.
The heroine, Princess Lailya, and her two friends, the giant goldfish Bulumbu, and the tiny turtle Tilley have been tasked with finding and retrieving certain precious pearls for a queen who is Lailya’s aunt. The three of them set out across the vast oceans and on their search for the precious pearls experience the beauty of the ocean and deep sea together.
My paintings were inspired by the highly detailed, miniature Indian paintings. This painting technique has proven itself to be a perfect medium for producing the visuals to my fantasy The Adventures of Princess Lailya, Bulumbu, and Tilley Turtle.
The original paintings featured in the book are small, no larger than 14" x 14".
The book is written in English, printed in color, 61 pages, 5.25" x 8", soft cover, for readers 12 to 100+ years.
