Sure, you're entitled to your opinion, as I am to mine. Only time will tell where we'll net out with generative AI. A market flooded with AI images can amount to a market of low net worth, so why invest the time for that?
The questions I'm raising are fundamental issues that are inherent in AI. I mean, have you ever thought that many online users might not have the computing power to output suitable AI art? What about if you live in a part of the world with limited Internet connections? Are you then excluded for life from all the worthy art endeavors? Are we becoming a society that values machine-made iconography over human-made images? Are you, as an AI promoter, ready to only interact with other AI-driven creators?
Is generative AI even accepted as 'Intelligence' that can produce ground-breaking ideas, or is it an adaptive technology using what's already out there stored on the net?
If that works for you, then all the kudos to you. But especially as an AI promoter, you will need to find answers to these fundamental questions at some point. Otherwise, you will be left in the dust.
