It’s good advice to go hungry every once in a while, or do some interval fasting, but human beings need food to stay human. Food is one of our simplest pleasures that make us human and compassionate.

At the bottom of the obesity epidemic lies ignorance about nutrition. We don’t read much about what healthy food is, where it’s grown, and how we can consume it in a healthy way. Similarly, we are not educated enough about the dangers of processed fast food and too much fat food.

Healthy food should be a central point in our human lives. We should celebrate vegetables in our meals. They are amazing treats from nature.

Really, it’s about respecting real food, and discarding of anything that comes in plastic and an ingredient list full of unreadable stuff.

And if one is serious about loosing weight, cut all the sugar. It’s poison really.
