It’s an interesting list, but I’d like to know some of the metrics AirBnb is using for these claims. Digital nomads need one thing the most, unlimited free WiFi, and secondly, some kind of nice place for buying food.

Even in countries like Switzerland, as a digital nomad, unless you are in a house with WiFi, I’ve found it very difficult hooking up to free WiFi in rural areas.

Workspaces are private, and not easily available.

So while rural France sounds wonderful, I’m sceptic that it is a perfect place for a digital nomad who actually needs to work through WiFi for 8 hrs a day.

Same goes for some other place mentioned.

But I’d love to know more of Airbnb’s claim.
