I'm so happy that you are encouraging drawing, art, and creativity as a lasting endeavor and skill in children. I've long been of the opinion that every child should draw and paint throughout their school years and beyond.

Having worked in advertising for many decades, I've seen graphic designer without any drawing or sketching skills. It was devastating to them and to the industry people who tried to hire.

This might have changed a bit, but I still truly believe that creativity and creative thinking starts with drawing at an early age.
