I wholeheartedly agree! Ageism in the tech world is downright absurd. For example, most professional people who are now 60+ have been used to the idea of airdropping information from one device to another since the early days of Blackberries. Same goes for networking. We've networked long before there was WeChat, Messenger, TikTok, by whatever means necessary, be it an actual business card (which I still love, btw), or a thank-you note in the mail (which I also still really prefer).
What gets lost in the ageist behaviors towards an older and truly wealthier user group is that it's only the devices that have changed, the concepts are the same.
