I stopped going to coffee shops a long time ago. Having my coffee at home in my own porcelain cup with my own choice of freshly ground coffee beans, milk or almond milk is soooo much nicer and calming than dropping my five bucks at some anonymous joint where I don't know what's going on behind the counter.

Let alone the thought of all those plastic polymers creeping into foods and beverages that sit on shelves for umpteen days before getting served is enough to make me never want to subsidize the first world coffee frenzy again. It's only going to get worse.

So this might be a good time to reorganize oneself and embrace one's own beautiful and cared for private kitchen for the sake of a really good cup of coffee.
