That's an excellent question. The example I provided are only conceptual examples of what a round of interviews with 5 participants and 4 task prompts would produce at a minimum.

In the real world, there would be a wealth of sticky notes on a wall with a plethora of research data from users.

In general, the more research data, the better the affinity mapping outcome.

Research is the absolute basis for all UX work, but often, that's difficult for the designers to factor in, because design work in itself can be very time-consuming.
