Fascinating. I wonder though how the term ‘superager’ was coined. Is that a scientific label, or more of a hip derivative of ‘Superman’ or ‘Superwoman’?
In general I find that the process of aging and living into one’s 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s and so on has not been well absorbed into a positive narrative.
I wish for a more fun, happy, and meaningful way to enjoy persons of higher ages who can and are contributing so much to society.
