Don't forget all the sugars in dairy products, called lactose, and also galactose, found in dairy and some fruits and vegetables.
Then, we have all the sugars from starches, from foods such as wheat. Wheat contains carbohydrates, which are broken down into glucose during digestion.
So, all the sugar-loaded cereals that we eat every morning are a double whammy on our system, especially if we soak the cereal in milk, yoghurt, cream. If we have ice cream that day, it's really poison that we feed our bodies.
The conversation on nutrition needs to focus on what's actually good for our bodies, such as organically grown vegetables, legumes, fish, good oil, such as olive oil, or walnuts oil, oats, nuts, etc.
As a society, we've been led astray for almost a century understanding what good nutrition is. So, it's no wonder that we have the high cholesterol, diabetes, obesity epidemics, and all the other health crises.
