It’s never too late to immerse yourself in the literary, eccentric and downright weird stories unveiled in hidden spots in this metropolis.

Be the inquisitive wanderer and take an intentional wrong turn, spend an extra minute or two and stroll onto a hidden public plaza and you might just find a creature from outer space.

As an artist, I always look for the unexpected, fantastical, and weird stuff. As a writer, I look at stories. As a designer, I look at materials and manufacturing techniques. Combining these three inquiries, as I walk through the streets of this city, I find it filled with treasures.

Gotham is not always about that grit, grime, and gloom that I, and every working person, too, experiences working late shifts or weekends. It’s not always about the stink that permeates subway stations, or the noise that penetrates skin and flesh and leaves one stressed to the bones.
