5 Midjourney prompts using Bézier curves styles
How a graphic design principle influences AI-generated visuals
What is a Bézier curve?
A Bézier curve is the line curve between two points with handles. Bézier curves are the foundation of vector design.
Each point of a Bézier curve has two handles which can be adjusted in any direction. By doing so, the curve adjusts itself to follow the distance and point-in-space of the handles. This can also be calculated mathematically.
A single Bézier curve consists of two line points, 2 control handles each, and a reference baseline. The resulting line is a harmonious computation of the numerical values of the two points and their handles. When the handles of a point are changed, the curve will adjust itself accordingly.
Bézier curves are named after Pierre Bézier, a French engineer. He patented and popularized the Bézier…
