Every writer wants to publish a book. That’s a dream come true. I know it is for me.

I did it and you can, too

Over the course of my graphic art career, I designed dozens of publications for clients, always working closely with printers. I’d never thought that I could publish my own book. Even though it was a dream of mine, it felt like a most daunting endeavor.

Where to start? And how?

I asked myself a lot of questions. Where does one start? What to do first? How to go from writing to designing? What about pictures? Copyrights? The logistics of accessing all that information felt like a year’s worth of college classes. The printing cost seemed unsurmountable. There was a steep learning curve.

True, but not unsurmountable

Although publishing might seem too complicated at first, it is, on the contrary, right at your fingertips knowing a few solid metrics.
